For all those interested I have recovered some cassette tapes of James
H Reeve's 10-1 slot during the Summer/Autumn of 1986 which I recorded
at the time. The tapes have been transferred to computer, edited,
cleaned up and are now available as a 2 cd set (total 137 mins). As
these are classics and a lot of effort has been put into the
restoration/compiling process I shall be adding a small charge of, say
£5 each + p+p, which I think is rerasonable. If anybody wants to take
up this offer please contact me at the e-mail address included. The
content is quite hilarious and is also, in a sense, a socio-political
statement of events in the mid 1980s.

Yep. It's beyond my comprehension how some of the spanners on our
local stations are managing to hold their job down. James really

I was so pleased to have him back on the air but I wish he had been on
at night . He in my opinion is the funniest and best talk jock in the
universe and beyond.

According to Wikipedia he left Rock Radio Manchester by 'mutual
agreement' because of the un-sociable hours he was working. Such a
shame I know, I was really pleased to hear him back on the airwaves - he
was only there 3 weeks! I even emailed him about something a week or so
ago and was looking forward to hearing him respond to it! Hope he'll
be back on something else soon although I don't hold out much hope!

What's happened to James' show on Rock Radio? It was the only decent
thing on that station. I can only listen to 'Whiskey in the Jar' and
'Stairway to Heaven' so many times...

I must say that I have enjoyed the mp3 files of James H that Chinacat
has made available . Thanks for all the work you put into recording
and then sharing of these files.
I listen to them over and over again. They have brightened up a dull
winter good on you.
I have about a dozen James H Reeve shows on tape from the mid to late
80s. I'm transferring them to mp3, so if anyone wants copies get in
