Johnny Wishbone is now a dad. Little Indiana James has just been born
and she's a girl.

done, four track are now available to download from
http://www.mp3.com/MarkFoster
Also I've found an old half done Johnny Wishbone demo in the vaults
of my big rock star mansion, so I'll try to remaster that and make it
available to you die-hard fans of the 'bone.

Hefty's in the semis of the Sol Bar's kareoke comp so make sure to go
there on Thursday (21st March) to cheer her on.
I've finaly got a music program on my pc that I know how to work, so
expect some new acoustic tracks to be uploaded to

It's true. After last week's acoustic night,
Disco Stu asked me and Nige to practice with him Rach
and Ants and I thought we couldn't do that without
Grunt, so Disco and Grunt will now take it in turns to
drum with Disco and Hefty singing.
Now that we've
got, between the five of us (excluding Hefty), the use
of two drummers (possibly three if the song's easy
enough for me), two bass players, four guitarists and
two singers, I have come up with a revolutionary new
idea. At the end of each song Hefty shouts out "Change
places!" and we swap instuments (and possibly hats) for
the next song. Maybe we'll get Bobby involved as well
as a member of the crowd to swap guitar/bass/drums
with at some point.
What do you think, neat eh?

They're probably just a bunch of con-artists but
I thought I'd check it out and use them for other
Llanelli bands if it's any good.
I've just signed
these guys up as Johnny Wishbone & the HalfWits' NMA
contact on mp3.com. Just because I've never known what
you're supposed to do with NMA. In return they've made
Johnny Wishbone featured band on their yahoo club and
mp3.com station for the next two months plus they're
playing us on another two of their online radio
stations.
I told them to use Summer's Song as I've uploaded a
remixed version of it. Unfortunately they've started
using it before the remix has been prosessed by mp3.com
so it's the version where you can her Ants singing.
I'll let you know when the new version of SS is up.

Foster you mentalist. Are you aware that we'll be

emotional blackmail into doing. I'm thoroughly dreading it
and will be so legless that I won't give a shit.

OKay you want convincing; I'm full of cold so I
probably won't be playing anything.
Also Kris and Ants
have spent the week filming each other round town
dressed as Elvis and Jimmy Saville and they'll be playing
the video in the pub on thursday.

Okay, a complete change of direction for the
Voodoo Starfishes. As it doesn't look as if we're going
to do anything in real life for the forseeable
future I've decided that the band will be better off as
a cartoon band, like Gorillaz, existing on the
internet only.
The new cartoon site will be up and
running this month and I've just uploaded a new tune to
the mp3 site, so that should be available next week
sometime.

So nothing happens for weeks and then as soon as
I book a holiday Llanelli becomes the world's
centre of sex and drugs and rock 'n' roll.
I'm
missing Yves' party, Motherland in the Stradey Arms, Tédo
and friends in Kavanagh's, Stickman in Ellingtons and
a piss-up in Carmarthen.
You know how I hate to
miss a party and now I'm missing five. Can someone
make a cardboard cut out of me to take round to these
places so people won't worry about not seeing me at all
these happenings.
And look, there's a new member and
it's an actual real-life person of the female
persuasion. So I'm guessing it's either Rachel or dSue
because the only other girls that come to our gigs turn
out not be girls when you get to know them well, as
I've found out too late on a few occasions. Ladyboys,
superb.
Here's another

a couple of songs at the Masons acoustic night last
night. Me and Ants went back where it all started all
those years ago He still plays half a verse of
Tangerines backwards and I don't remember all of Summer's
song until the last verse.
If you were wondering

Whhoooooo? No, only joshing. I look forward to
the Stradey Arms gig. I haven't been there since
Tédo's fans trashed it during their gig on Heno.
Speaking of which I still haven't seen that, Ellis, have
you got it on tape?
As for a gig in the Thomas
Arms, I don't think I've ever seen a band there. It's a
bit posh, mind, wedding reception usualy. Should be
room for a big crowd though.

Stamps tommorrow night: Tédo, Artimus Crisis and
Shredder (but not necessarily in that order) play live, so
if anyone's interested, drop in. The first chords
will be struck somewhere between 7 and 8, so get there
early and get twatted.
