Good Morning Ladies,

Do you remember Sheila talking about knitted waistcoats for hens, a
topic she had heard on 'Farming Today' when we were sitting round the
table having a welcome cup of tea at the wool sale at the Assembly Rooms
a little while back, well I got a newsletter from 'Simply Knitting and
there was an article in there about the self same thing. These Battery
Hens were rescued by 'Little Hen Rescue' and the knits were to keep them
warm as they had plucked out their own feathers.
