I've emailed her and asked her where else she is planning on going, I'd quite
like her to come up this way too ;) I'll let you know when I get a reply.

'The Lincoln sale is on Sunday 26th Oct from 11am to 4pm at the
Assembly Rooms, 76 Bailgate. I am planning to do a sale every 2
months in Lincoln (and other towns in and around Lincolnshire) and
will take a large and varying range of yarns, patterns and
accessories to each one. The Lincoln sale will include yarns from
Sirdar, Debbie Bliss, Noro, Twilleys, Peter Pan, Stylecraft and
Woolcraft amongst others. As I am just starting with the sales I
would really like to get some feedback from people about what they
want to see at the sales and help ensure the offering varies each
time. There is no entry charge and the Assembly Rooms are putting on
refreshments so anyone who wants to bring their knitting can have a
knit/sit in the ballroom with a cuppa! Some yarns will be slightly
discounted but the main stock is all good quality current ranges from
different suppliers.'

I'm going to be in Beeston for the weekend (it's my birthday!!!!! and
I'm visiting my nephews!) so could probably pop over to say hello at
some point?

Ingrid Wagner (the lady who knits with very large needles) will be at the
Little Wool Shop in Southwell on Monday 13 October from 3 pm to do a
demonstration. She uses very large needles and knits rugs etc. Her method of
extreme knitting uses re-cycled material tied together. She can create a throw
for a sofa in 12 hours!!!
Would anyone be interested in coming over?

Unfortunaltely my darling husband works st the weekend so I would

I have been talking to a few people on the Knitting in Lincs board on
Ravelry and they live quite far away from Lincoln so we are looking at
setting up a group in Louth since that seems to be the mid-point for a
lot of people.
Would there be anyone interested in meeting from here? We are thinking
one Wednesday morning a month and one morning or afternoon at the
weekend if we can find people.
Please get in touch we me either here or at nicola_i_sharp@...
Thanks again,
Nic

Hi All
Â
I am organising a trip to the Knitting and Stitching at Harrogate in November
(20 - 23rd) - on the Sunday and have a number of seats spare.  Does anyone
want to join us? Pick up will be Newark, visit to Harrogate, tea at Bettys -
return at 5.30 pm - drop off at Newark.
Â
Cost £20 per person to include entry to the show and bus.
Â
Grateful if you would let me know.

Don't forget the Boston group on Monday mornings - we plan to run throughout
the school holidays but if you could let us know in advance if you're coming
it would be helpful so we can make sure someone is there (and if you then
can't come please let us know)

Hi Everyone,
I've got a bag of wool (which Claire originally passed on to me) that needs a
good home. I just don't have room to store it in my teeny tiny new flat and
thought someone else might be able to use it. There's a smallish dustbin bag
full of it - think it's wool and it's cream/natural in colour. It could well
need washing! It's aran weight.
I can either bring it along to the Drill Hall on Saturday or it can be picked up
from my Mum's house near the County Hospital in Lincoln.
