UMEBOSHI EFFECT Tango Celebration 2006
A chance to get started, discover and deepen our tango experience in a singular
pedagogic event: A FESTIVAL DESIGNED BY THE ARTISTS. Eight dancers (teachers and
performers from the Argentine tango vanguard) and four top musicians. Together
they will
fill Bylaugh's magnificent rooms, as well as the wonderful outdoors, with a
unique
celebration.
UMEBOSHI EFFECT
Seven days to step into a different dimension, explore the limits, enter the
magical world
of expression through dance. Seven days to share a learning experience with
artists and
musicians side by side.

A seven day Tango Fantasy under the July full moon.

The team of argentine dancers/artists will create an environment where
tango, theatre, life
and music will develop within the realms of
ORGANICITY, CELEBRATION & COMMUNITY.
REFERENCES:
ORGANIC: Explore its dimensions. Space, movement. Body, connection.
Nutrition,
energy.
COMMUNITY: Teachers working as a group towards thesame idea.
Artists sharing activities and lifestyles with participants side by
side.
CELEBRATION: Become a source of collective energy. The ritualistic
offering. Inmerse in the
"here and now".

THE TROUPE
The argentine artists/dancers putting up UMEBOSHI EFFECT will be the
guides of the event.
They will become the theatrical leaders of a "seven day fantasy".
Different themes will be explored and presented by group and couple
performances.
