Description
Welcome to London Board Games Club. We play board games like Imperial, Railroad Tycoon, Perikles, Fury Of Dracula, Apocalypse (LBGC Houserules), RoboRally, Game Of Thrones, Carcassonne, Republic of Rome, Settlers of Catan, Cosmic Encounter, Werewolf, Torres, Puerto Rico, Bang!, Kremlin, Formula De, and so on. Plus inventing games and playtesting each other's game ideas.
Club started August 2002 and going well in 2009. New members welcome. Membership and attendance all free. The venue is in Ealing, West London (UK). So far, it's at my home (I have a spacious home with a room or two away from our children). Get the address by emailing me. Handy for board game players in Ealing, Acton, Chiswick, Kew, Richmond, Brentford, Greenford, Wembley, Harrow, Shepherd's Bush, Hammersmith, Fulham etc.
We meet about 2 or 3 Sundays a month. We start at 2.30 and finish around 7.30, so players can still go off to an evening commitment afterwards. We also meet up on occasional Wed or Thur evenings here, and sometimes at an Ealing pub on Tues evenings.
Interested? Email me, bobroscow at my gmail.com address. I'm sure you can work that out. It's to avoid spam.
