I've played Ra a couple of times and i think its quite nice; it has a nice auction mechanic to bid for tiles. I would probably prefer Euphrates and Tigris - i played this for the first time last weekend - but i'd definitely play Ra again.
Strangely i was reading about Gloria Mundi and Imperial yesterday on the geek. Both looked interesting and we know about Antike - another good game.
