Last Sunday's session   Message List

Last session, last Sunday 21 October was brilliant! 10 of us meant
it was perfect to split into two groups, and yet see how the other
group's games worked.
We gave priority to the huge haul of the latest games that Allan had
just brought back from Essen. It was hard to pick which ones to try
first!

Allan, Dave, James, Tomas and I tried Hamburgum. Great. Tomas and I
tied for a win at the count-up, but Tomas won the tie-break on coins,
so Tomas won ... again!!

George, Andrew, Felix, Neil and Brian (Brian's first visit) played
Container that Allan had also brought back. Great. Apparently Felix
won.

Then we shuffled around a bit, and one group played Apocalypse, and
the other Brass, which Brian won.

So we didn't get to try all the others ... yet! ......Origins, Key
Harvest, Pillars of the Earth, Utopia, Werewolf, Saboteur,
ThunderRoad .......

I borrowed (stole?) a couple of them as people left, to look at
them. Saboteur looks like a very nice ice-breaker when there are 7-
10 of us before we split into separate groups. As, of course, is
Werewolf if there are 11+ of us. I'm most keen on trying Origins
next. And Container, which was played by the other half. Looking
forward to the next session. Do still bring other games, in case
Allan doesn't come along that day.

Cheers,
Bob
