Thanks for those who made it along for the AGM at the end of
September; it was all over in 40 minutes, so people had plenty of
game-time!


MEMBERSHIP
Membership started afresh last week and we're keeping the same
structure as last year, so that's £15 for a membership which gets you
a couple of discounts and Club entry for £1 instead of £2.

The new membership cards are almost here! It's an exciting new
direction for club cards (so i'm assured ;) and they are looking
great.


SCENERY
Our new Caretaker, Nick, and I spent a few hours on Saturday past
looking over the scenery and re-ordering it. You'll now find you need
ONE BOX of terrain for your table. That's it, no more rummaging
through several boxes to build a battlefield. (If you need more then
there are some 'extras' boxes to add to your creations.) We think
it's a go-er and believe you will too :)

October
10th - "Apocalypse!" Whoops, the Guys from GW will be along to demo
the new supplement for Warhammer 40,000. Bring 1,500+ points of
stuff. Anything. No Force Organisation Chart required, but a rough
idea of points would be good.

13th - "Skelp" The Angus Wargames Club presents their annual wargames
show at The Reid hall, Castle Street, Forfar, Angus.

17th - "Warmachine" The 'summer' league kicks off - chat to Digby.

27th - "Rapid Fire!" Stirling Wargamers presents offers 1750pt games
of Warhammer 40,000 for £10 (this covers tea and croissants on
arrival, a day of top-quality gaming and lunch). Places are limited

November
3rd - "Targe" Kirriemuir Wargames Club presents their wargames event
at Kirriemuir Town Hall, 28/30 Reform Street, Kirriemuir, Angus, DD8
4BS.

10th - "BBowl KO!" Heriot Watt Gamers are running a Blood Bowl
tournament. Contact our own Caretaker, Nick (nbrigg@...), for
details .
