WHAT'S HAPPENING ON... Wednesday 16th July

Warhammer 40,000
New Edition; New Campaign. The GW Edinburgh campaign kicked off last night and
games played at [elg] tie in to their main map. The race race to the top of the
hive city has begun, with all factions racing to get to the top of the Hive
Spire...

Warmachine / Hordes (Shevaun)
Ongoing. The CALL to ARMS campaign kicked off last week and will run
fortnightly. New players are as welcome as gnarled old veterans.

WFB League (Andy M)
The Pyramid of Pain grows to 17 players! This week is the last chance to play in
Round 4, with the [FINAL] Round 5 Challenges being set 23rd July.

Urban War Demos (Andy M)
Urban War will be supported over the rest of June and into July with more demos
available from club members. Get along this week and try out the rules!

ON THE HORIZON...
Warhammer 40,000 Apocalypse (Nick)
A Saturday game the way it was designed to be played: with a GM & story (and
food?). Around 15,000 points per side. Very Limited tickets!

Battlefleet Gothic - 27th August (James B)
A few tables will be signed over to Fleet Admirals this evening. New or old it
matters not: get a game in and see how this Specialist Games classic flows. If
you like it enough, we'll run games throughout September.

World Wide War with 40k Radio (September 20th) (Andy M)
[elg] is hosting one part of the 'simultaneous' largest tournament in the world.
There are only 20 places. If you're interested in this 1,750pt tournament, then
get in touch as soon as you know you're free to play!  NOTE: 1/4 of the tickets
are now sold, with almost 1/2 being reserved. If you are interested, then let me
know ASAP.
