WHAT'S HAPPENING ON... Wednesday 6th & Saturday 9th August

Warhammer 40,000 (Andy M)
After a couple of false starts, The Armate Heresy begins to unravel on the 6th.
This narrative campaign sets radical against puritan in a struggle to secure a
very unique resource. We hope ot see some tie-in games of BFG at the end of the
month (see later)

Warhammer 40,000 Apocalypse - 9th August (Nick)
A Saturday game the way it was designed to be played: with a GM & story. Around
15,000 points per side. Very Limited tickets! CONTACT NICK ASAP -

Warmachine / Hordes (Shevaun)
The CALL to ARMS campaign continues in it's fortnightly slot. New players are as
welcome as gnarled old veterans.

Urban War Demos (Andy M)
After an astonishingly successful Claymore, more demos will be run. Get along
this week and try out the rules - models, dice, etc. all provided!

Claymore (postscript)
Tim Jack and I ran a ton of games using his remarkably short-yet-fun Battle of
the Daleks rules. Thanks to Nick for the terrain, Tim for the models, and the
efforts of both myself and Tim [elg] won 3rd Best Participation Game as voted
for by the traders in attendance at Claymore. (There were 9 Participation
games.) Thank you to both Tim and Nick for their efforts in making this work so
well!

WFB League (postscript)
The Pyramid of Pain finished last week. After five tough rounds, Ian managed to
retain the top tier and pick up the coveted (?!?) inflatable warhammer; nice
work chap! There are rumblings of a new campaign in October, so watch this
space.


ON THE HORIZON...
Battlefleet Gothic - 27th August (James B)
A few tables will be signed over to Fleet Admirals this evening. New or old it
matters not: get a game in and see how this Specialist Games classic flows. If
you like it enough, we'll run games throughout September.

World Wide War with 40k Radio - 20th September (Andy M)
[elg] is hosting one part of the 'simultaneous' largest tournament in the world.
There are only 20 places. If you're interested in this 1,750pt tournament, then
get in touch as soon as you know you're free to play!  NOTE: 10 tickets are now
sold, with almost all the remainder being reserved. If you are interested, then
let me know ASAP.
