Folks,

  [elg] is running a Urban Mammoth gathering on Saturday 21st February, with a
focus on Urban War. Draft details are below, but the UM guys are supporting us
in many ways including appearing, talking, demo-ing, and selling!

Times:              10am-6pm
Location:            11 Hillside Crescent, Edinburgh, EH7 5UH
Cost:                £2 or £5 for the Tournament; both include
the new Yokai model
 
-         Free ‘Yokai’ figure, including stats card for every
attendee (pics to follow)
-         300-point, 4-round UW tournament for up to 12 players (6x
4'x4'). Standard Urban Mammoth prize support includes medals and other treats.
-         Urban Mammoth demo tables for Urban War
-         Demo tables for Metropolis & CLAU-Team Actions
-         Open-play tables (from Starter to CLAU-Teams)
-         Studio Display of miniatures, artwork, and books.
-         Seminars for John Robertson & John Grant  to discuss future
plans and answer questions
-         Guest appearance by Stuart Beel: new concept artist for Urban
Mammoth (artwork being printed to be signed)
-         Retail Stand.
-         Painting competition
-         A bar and chef on-site!

I've also contacted the following clubs: DWARF (Dunfermline Wargaming and
Roleplay Fellowship), Kirriemuir Wargames Club, St Aiden's Warriors, Stirling
Wargamers, Angus Wargames Club, G M Wargames,
Livingston Battleground, Falkirk District Wargames Club, Legion Games, and Dark
Fire Wargames Club.

I know Brian (at DWARF) was talking about this kind of event too. I think
you'll agree that it'd be good to mingle.
