As a newcomer to these discussions and a teacher following the governments
KS3 science strategy I am embarking on producing at least a bank of
resources, at most a full blown course on misconceptions.
Is there a "best" way of overcoming them? Is the CASE method of
1. Cognitive conflict
2. Social Construction
3. Metacognotion
4. Bridging
a useful model to follow in planning resources or am I best finding
analogies, models etc for pupils to use or both?

Any thoughts, web sites, or books would be useful

S Kemp
