"I have been interested in Lidos and outdoor swimming pools for many years -
we had an amazing one locally in Portobello which unfortunately I never got
the chance to swim in, but its derelict structure was fascinating. My
Grandad was a keen outdoor swimmer and often swam in the North Berwick sea
pool or Stonehaven outdoor pool. I am a very keen swimmer (swim most days in
my local pool or the Victorian baths in Portobello, which has recently had
its Turkish baths renovated) and would be keen to do more outdoor swimming.

I am keen to support what pools or facilities still exist and promote the
benefits of swimming (indoor and out)."
