Postdoctoral position in Membrane Traffic
A postdoctoral position is available to study endosomal trafficking and the
Fanconi syndrome. This is a 3-year appointment funded by the National Kidney
Research Fund to Professors R.Unwin and S.Cockcroft, and Drs F. Thevenod and
A.G.W Norden. The work will be carried out mainly in Prof. S Cockcrofts
Laboratory at UCL, Dept. Physiology. Applicants should have experience in
basic Molecular Biology and Cell Biology techniques and an interest in
membrane trafficking events. The work will be focused on the role of ARF6 on
protein re-absorption in the kidney and its relevance to the Fanconi
syndrome. Salary will be in the Research Grade 1A, #20,865 (including
London allowance).
