Use of FEP tubes in lipid extraction   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #86 of 188 |
Dear all:

Does anyone know if the use of FEP tubes during the extraction of lipids
with chloroform and methanol cause problems in subsequent FAME analysis by
gas chromatography? We use a SP-2330 column from Supelco.
It seems to me to be so, but I wonder if anybody has had any experience
about it.

Thanks, Juan
