Hello,

I was referred to this group by the person who runs Cyberlipids.com,
and so I hope I'm not violating any protocols by posting a position
announcement here.

I'm a recruiter for the biotech industry. My client is a division of
a multi-billion dollar firm. This division is focused on the
development of diagnostic products for clinical and research use.
Specific areas include small molecule detection, protein
identification, and enzyme-based diagnostic reagents. Their
technology is also used to develop protein pharmaceuticals,
especially receptor antagonists for treatment of immune related
diseases and cancers.

In this position, you will be responsible for lipoprotein and
cholesterol studies. You will develop methodologies in subfraction
and analysis.

Requirements:
* Extensive knowledge and experience in lipoprotein and cholesterol
studies.
* Experience in methodology development for LDL and HDL analysis and
subfractionation is required.
* Ph.D. in Biochemistry/Analytical Chemistry or related field
* 2-4 years of post-doctoral or industry experience.

This position is located in San Diego, CA and pays up to $75,000 per
year, depending on experience.

If you would like to be considered, send your CV with contact
information to me via email or fax, and let me know a time at which I
can reach you.
