Hi Marian,
Why not change the settings so that messages have to be approved before
being posted. That way you can catch the spam before it ever hits the
group. If you need an extra moderator to help with the increased workload I
would be more than happy to help out.

Sorry to bother you, but the rubbish we have recently started getting
on this group is a big shame and spoiling it for the majority.
Unfortunately it seems to be getting worse and I can't find any way to
stop it. :(

How would you feel about having to be "approved" before you could join
the group and do you think this would help withthe problem? - or are
you happy to put up with it and not have the (fairly minor?) hassle
of "joining"?

I will put a poll up if you prefer to reply that way, but please feel
free to reply to this message/email me if you have any further comments
or simply prefer that method.
