Hi there,
I have voted for approval. The thing is that the spammers that joins
a mailinglist/group get access to every email address that the list
includes. This way they get more options to send more spam...
I have approved members only on the listst that I have and it is
quite easy to handle. The routine I use is for anyone who wants to
join to type the reason for joining. I get the applications straight
into my email and can immideately see if there is any "effort" put
into the application - in 8 of 10 there is no info supplied, hence:
spammer. When I get the ones with relevant info I go straight on to
approve them. The spammers I press "deny" when it is convenient for me.
Best wishes,
Lotta
