Entries on the day, no need to enter in advance, no catalogue! But
please let me know you are coming if at all possible!
FUN classes!
Open to all!
Entry fee £5 per table or £3 per hapf table. You can share a table
or half table but I do need to know everyone who's coming please!
If you only have ONE or TWO entries, then it's just £1. Pay on the
day. No charge for spectators!
EVERYONE judging every class!
SCHEDULE:
1. Scene on a Seasonal Theme:
a. "Serious/Realistic"
b. "Frivolous/Fun"
2. Fancy Dress
3. Worst Custom by Owner
4. Mini Show Jumping: Stablemate size or smaller models.
Each must have some form of "control", even if it's just a "rope
halter" with the lead rope tied round to form reins, but saddle etc.
Optional - and must have a rider. There will be a course of jumps
which each will jump in turn with faults as per real jumping and a
jump off (or two) "against the clock"
Before the class starts there will be a Best Turned Out class (these
models must jump afterwards):
a. "Serious" (i.e., turned out as realistically as possible) and
b. "Frivolous" (interpret "BTO" as you see fit!)

6. JSR Class: Best Julip
a. Original
b. Horse of the Year
7. DPMS Class: Best Dream Pony
a. Magpie Model
b. Customised shell/Swallow Horsetoys Dream Pony
c. Dream Pony (as sold by Swallow Horsetoys -
if there are any out there still?)
8. `Britains' class (to include similar makes such as Timpo etc..)
a. Customised
b. Anyone got any of the OLD metal Britains models?
c. OF Plastic Britains-types (small added markings allowed here)
9. Carousel Class: CTF models (but please do not enter any Julips,
Dreams or Britains-types here)
a. Craft (mostly one-off hand-made models. This category does not
include commercial resins)
b. Toy
c. Foundation Model (if there are any left after those I have
excluded?)
10. Prettiest Colour:
a. Roan
b. Golden
c. Silver
d. (Other?) non-horse colour
11. Most Interesting Markings:
a. Piebald
b. Skewbald
c. Odd-coloured
d. Solid colour with white or other markings
12. Best Christmas Present - any model you have had for Christmas
2005.
There is an unconfirmed rumour that Horse Sense and Animal Artistry
will be there so bring your Xmas money with you - anything bought on
the day with `Xmas money' can enter the Xmas Present Class (if you
buy it before the class takes place. Obviously?).

MEET OF THE LINDFIELD HUNT
There will be the usual Meet of the "Lindfield Hunt" to which all are
invited - please bring your hounds and huntsmen along as well as your
horses and riders.
Followed (of course) by some "legal hunting"!!!
