Hyde Park/ Kensington Gardens Sightings:
September 7th 2005:

*Little Grebe > 4.
*Kestrel > 1 female hunting in long grass near Peter Pan enclosure.
*Green Woodpecker > 3.
*Great Spotted Woodpecker > 1 male.
*House Martin > c.35 over the Round Pond (mainly juveniles).
*Pied Wagtail > 17.
*Common Redstart > the vocal female found yesterday is still present
in trees just South of Marble Arch and East of 'The Meadow', showing
well.
*Mistle Thrush > 10.
*Blackcap > a pair (m/f) in the Peter Pan enclosure.
*Chiffchaff > 3 (including 1 singing).
*Spotted Flycatcher > 1 showing well in the Peter Pan enclosure.
*Coal Tit > 2 singing males.
*Magpie > c.20.
*Chaffinch > 6.

*Swift > 1 with House Martins at 07.00hrs.
*House Martin > c.30 at 07.00hrs.
*Blue Tit > c.10.
*Goldfinch > 3 juveiles.
