Martha- It sounds a great opportunity. I applied myself for a spot on the
plinth, but didn't get it. As well as the fungi idea which is very worthwhile,
It would also be rather magical to see trafalgar square at that time in the
morning and hear the city's dawn chorus. ( I think sunrise is just after 4.30?)

I may be able to come. I'm going to look into it. It depends whether I can
safely get transport at that time in the morning. ( I suppose the other option
is, if I have the stamina, going out for a rather late night in town!) Also, I
have to convince my weekend guest to come along.

As for ideas- How about a Trafalgar square funghi foray or trail? Could circle
them with chalk to make it easier in the dark, or have a mushroom BBQ to
encourage interest.

If I do manage to come I don't know how much knowledge I could provide, but I
can do the artistic, and enthusiastic bit!
