Set in the purpose built Spanish village of Las Terrazas and Los Barcos and centred around the multi-cultural residents, Eldorado took up its regular Monday, Wednesday and Friday night slots on BBC1 promising sun, sand and sangria. There was certainly a lot to gossip about right up until the programme's demise on Friday July 9th 1993.
