Welcome to the group!  I've read your entries in the log books, it's great to finally "meet" you.  Just checked out your website - how lucky are you to have had an aerial tour of Lundy?  I'm so jealous!  Think I might have to make an effort to be out there at the appropriate time next year...  I've always wanted to do that, even to the extent of investigating the possibility of learning to fly a microlite (too expensive for the moment, but who knows what the future will bring?).

 

And it was quite scary to find my (not very good) poem about Old Light on your website too - I remember writing that...  the first few lines came to me as I was dozing off one night below that wonderful picture of Wellington in OLC.  I thought it was rubbish, but wrote it in the log book anyway!

 

Regards publicising this group, I'm off to the island in a couple of weeks (15 days to go...) and plan to come up with some sort of mini-poster that I'm going to try and persuade Derek to put up in the pub.  At the very least I'm going to write a big note in the Square Cottage log book.  And I'm guessing Helen will do the same in the LSJ one in September, and we're both going out there in Feb so can hit OLC and RR then too.  How did you find us, as a matter of interest?

 

Anyway...  spose I should get on with some work now.  much more fun to "talk" about Lundy, but something's got to pay for my trips out there, worse luck.
