Not been logging in as I should so just caught up with some 'chat'
between June and Pip both of whom I have met through out mutual
obsession with THAT lump of granite!!!

Lucky lucky Pip, Simon and Blake have just spent 7 days there but
are leaving within hours now and I will be stepping onto that boat
in just 14 days time with a Lundy 'virgin' friend Chris. Had to
endure my going on and on and on for the last 13 years and has
finally capitulated and said she would love to come!! She is doing
a Uni degree (never too late) and is hoping to be inspired by the
natural textures etc on the island and taking lots of pics etc. I
intend showing her every inch I can in 7 short days and hope she'll
be inspired to return.

This will be my 11th visit, 3 now within 12 months with 2 more
booked, 10 days next February with Pip - plenty of properties left
at present, anyone fancy joining us for perhaps the inaugural
meeting of the group? Pip and I have bagged OLC and RR so the rest
of you will have to bunk up together!!!!! Just a
thought............... Next May I am herding up all my extended
family (well most of them) and braving half term (got to with kids)
to go and celebrate my sister's 60th (11 times), her eldest
daughter's 40th (2 times) and youngest daughter's 30th (2 times).
Also coming are brother-in-law (2 times), my son (3 times) and
partner, nieces partners/kids so at least with 11 of us we are
occupying 5 properties which must reduce the half-term
yuppies/kids/kites/noise..........if not the DT's!! Sorry, chaps,
but I have an in-built distaste for DT's and feel they should
somehow be vetted to ensure their intentions are honourable before
they come.................mobiles, high heels, sweet wrappers,
giving poor Nigel stress in his shop - I could go on but better not!!

Must start counting the days, hours..........and pray for better
weather............
