Hi all
My boyfreind has been going out to Lundy every year for the last 20
years and has a collection of books about the Island. I just wondered
if anyone knows abput how I might get a copy of Fekix Gade's book life
on Lundy. I have been searching everywhere and would really like to
get a copy by Christmas.
I've got a copy, it was given to me by a friend though. The island shop was selling the 3rd edition a few years back but I don't know if they've got any now - haven't seen any for a while. You could try phoning them though, Nigel might be able to help. (phone the island 01237 431831 and ask to be put through to the shop)
Alternatively you could try searching second-hand book sites - I just searched www.abebooks.co.uk but they don't have any in at the moment (had to get my 12 year old son to shut the laptop down before I spent a fortune on some of the other Lundy stuff they have though!). Worth keeping an eye out. Ebay might have a copy, they do sometimes.
It is a fascinating book though, and if he loves Lundy (sounds very much like he does) he'll love reading the book.

Yep my boyfriend really loves the Island and after my first visit
last year I am hooked.There is now a group of 12 of us that go out
each year- its the time I look forward to the most in the year. We
even decided to have a Christmas dinner out there last year as a
friend of ours had a difficult year and we wanted to cheer him up.
Nigel was great and even ordered us a turkey and brussel sprouts!
