Two things I wonder about: (a) if they'd met under any other
circumstances as children (say, if Harry's parents hadn't died and it
had been a family visit) would Harry and Dudley have got along at
all? (Probably not, but who knows, without Vernon and Petunia's
example?) (b) How on earth did Harry grow up with good manners in
such a household?
