Hi there, all!  I apologise for the extended silence, but I've been up to my neck in real life stuff lately.

Firstly – I noticed the other day that suddenly there are over two hundred members. Wow. Welcome, all – this is a pretty quiet group generally, but don't let that stop you making some noise if you feel like it :-) It's nice to have you all here.

Secondly - I said I might post some of my X-Files stories. I just got around to editing three of the least embarrassing of the shorter ones and here they are. There are others, but some of them are part of an extended series which will take a little while to knock into shape. Certain information, such as the original acknowledgements of my beta-reader, have been removed to protect the innocent, but otherwise they're exactly as they were when I originally posted them. Um ... they aren't great. My personal favourite was Silent Witness, but when I was tidying it up a little while ago I suddenly realised that actually the plot is total rubbish.

Oh well.

Thirdly – it's okay, I haven't died and I haven't forgotten things like the (possible) sequel to The Lodger. I've been wrestling with a really difficult final chapter on a new Auror story, but as soon as I've convinced Harry to do things my way, that one will be finished and I can get rid of it and move on to Draco.

It'll make a nice change ....
