It was lovely to see this little 'slice of life' from the Auror
series. Your characters are always so well rounded, and they interact
in such a believable way that it makes them a real pleasure to read -
I find myself effortlessly immersed in the world you've created. This
was such an everyday event - men in particular seem to be fairly
careless with underwear and socks; I virtually have to force the other
half and my sons out to buy more - they always vehemently protest that
what they have is fine, even if it's virtually transparent from age!
Thanks for giving me a good chuckle!
Matty.
Hi Matty,
I'm glad you enjoyed this! Yes, men can be a little careless about underwear and other clothes,
especially if there's someone else around to keep an eye on it for them :-) I have two older brothers and I believe they'd go, er, commando, if my mother didn't regularly buy socks and so on for them! (And it's not like they live at home anymore.) Ron's probably the same, given that his mother seems quite willing to continue buying his underwear for him.
It was fun to write something like this again - enormous pleasure in writing Circles!Harry and Ron after such a long time, and relief at not writing anything with a plot or angst. So I'm glad everyone seems to have enjoyed it :-)
Cheers,
Mad Martha
