Yeah I totally understand. It fits well with the tone of the whole
story, especially the end of Reparations. But I think we all have
that hope for a magical happy ending to everything. Or at least I do.

tried a couple of scenarios that were more upbeat and they just
didn't work. It wanted to be more sombre. And in some ways I
personally think that's appropriate, because it's the end of a battle
but not the end of the war - does that make sense? Voldemort is
dead, but everything hasn't been miraculously put right. The things
in wizard society that allowed a monster like Voldemort to happen in
the first place haven't been changed - yet - and so it's still not a
perfect world.
