Re: Checkmate universe queries

Mad Martha,

Thanks for the replies. Good to know that other stories are brewing!

You wrote:

"For the avoidance of doubt - yes, "The Kissing Bough" is correct and
"Keeper's Snitch" was wrong. The seer grandmother is Lillian Prewett,
Molly's mother, while the paranoid one is Arthur's mother.

"I could go back and change it, but the fact is I prefer not to. As I
was saying to someone only yesterday - if it was work-related, I would
change it like a shot; if it was my original fiction I would also
change it; but for some reason I hate going back to change things in
my fanfiction - once it's posted, it's posted."

I'm fine with that. As you say, it gives some of us something to do...

But what's this about original fiction? Where must I go to find this?
What price must I pay to find out the name under which it is
published, or who must I bribe to otherwise get copies?

(Sorry--I'm a bit loopy at the moment. My excuse today isn't mopping
the floor, but just general madness...)

And then you wrote:

"And, er, yeah ... looking at all that, clearly I may need to go back
and edit things after all. If I get a spare moment and the willpower
to do it ..."

Again, fine with me if you don't. Or you could take the ugly middle
option and post an errata sheet in the Checkmate folder. I think that
would work fine.
