Thank you :-)
Oof. It's been a long while since I started one of these things, so I can't remember exactly how it came about - I think there was something of a trend in fandom at the time to write "X no. of things about ..." and I was just picking up on that. The Ravenclaw Harry/Hufflepuff Ron ones grew out of some very vague ideas I'd had, and really there wasn't much more to the ideas than the lists I made, plus a few other things I came up with as I was writing them. The other thing is that if you're challenged to come up with twenty pieces of information about a character, it focusses your mind quite a bit - although it took me two years with Sirius and I'd already written another full story by the time I finished it :-)
All three of them were "intentional compositions" to a certain extent, but there's also an element of compiling information I knew in my head but hadn't written yet.
Going back to an earlier question:
>>But what's this about original fiction? Where must I go to find this? What price must I pay to find out the name under which it is published, or who must I bribe to otherwise get copies?<<
You do not want to read my original fiction. Trust me on that. Most of it is pretty old and crummy, because I haven't written a lot of original fic since I started writing HP fanfiction, and even the stuff I have written recently is in no way readable! I can never seem to get myself organised in my ideas, actually, so it's all bits and pieces at the moment :-)
