An official for Madonna’s African charity says the star has arrived in Malawi
to visit the girls school she is building in the impoverished country where she
adopted two children.
The official who could not be named because he was not authorised to speak
on the matter said Madonna arrived on Sunday at about 14:30 on Ethiopian
Airlines.
The 51-year-old celebrity was accompanied by her four children, her daughters
Lourdes and Mercy, and sons Rocco and David.

MADONNA RESUME IN THE RAISING MALAWI BLOG :

My family and I are on our way to Malawi to attend the ground breaking
ceremony for Raising Malawi Academy for Girls. The ceremony will take
place on Monday, October 26 at 3:00 p.m. on the future site of the Academy.
Our vision for the school is to empower girls to become Malawi’s future
leaders.
It’s an honor for me to be able to help as many of these girls as I can
achieve their dreams.
I’m also incredibly proud of all the projects Raising Malawi is involved in
and
 I look forward to visiting a number of them during my visit.

Madonna compra dos guitarras de Bulgaria
 

El equipo de Madonna, la reina de la música pop, ha encargado a una fábrica
búlgara de instrumentos de cuerda construir dos guitarras especiales de maderas
exóticas para futuros conciertos que dará la cantante estadounidense.

Las dos guitarras únicas, de siete y de seis cuerdas, respectivamente, ya se
están elaborando en la fábrica Kremona Bulgaria, en la ciudad de Kazanlak
(Bulgaria central), informó hoy el rotativo "Standart".

Los instrumentos, encargados por el trío ruso Kolpakovi, que desde años forma
parte de la orquesta de Madonna, tendrán el cuerpo de cedro americano y otras
maderas exóticas, y el mástil estará hecho de ébano.

La fábrica se negó a revelar el precio de ambos instrumentos, pero algunos
maestros de producción de guitarras a mano comentaron al diario que su valor se
mueve en torno a las cinco cifras en euros.

Según representantes musicales de Bulgaria, con toda seguridad las guitarras
están destinadas al equipo musical de la cantante norteamericana.

La reina de pop levantó una gran fiebre entre el público búlgaro el pasado
Agosto, cuando actuó en Sofía con su concierto "Sticky & Sweet".

Las más de 50.000 entradas del concierto fueron vendidas en los primeros días

but she has so much to live for. No, not her kids or anything, but her work.
Daily Mail says,

She may have a tough exterior but Madonna has admitted she took a real blow
during her divorced from director Guy Ritchie last year.
The 51-year-old revealed she was distracted only by her work, which included a
gruelling world tour.
 
‘It was a challenging year,’ she says. ‘I may have thrown myself off a
building. I think work saved me and I’m very grateful that I had work to
do.’
I doubt any harm would have come if she did happen to throw herself off a
building. I’ve always said she resembles a muscular spider, and you never
know, she might be hiding some spinnerets under those black vinyl bodysuits.

Madonna ditched the provocative title and cover image from the album that became
"Hard Candy" because she feared too many people would have a problem with it.

The pop superstar had planned to call the project "Black Madonna" and posed in
blackface make-up with white eyes for photographer Steven Klein's cover art, but
she quickly realized the whole idea would be too controversial - and scrapped
it.

She tells Rolling Stone magazine, "I painted my face black, except for red lips
and white eyes. It was a play on words. Have you ever heard of the Black
Madonna?

"It has layers of meaning, and, for a minute, I thought it would be a fun
title... Then I thought, '25 per cent of the world might get this, probably
less, it's not worth it.'"

 




NYC neighbor sues Madonna over loud music
One of Madonna’s New York neighbors says the superstar’s loud music and
frequent dance sessions are causing a commotion.
 
Karen George, of Manhattan, lives above Madonna in a building on Central Park.
She said in a lawsuit filed Friday against the building’s co-op board that the
Material Girl is using her apartment as a rehearsal studio, forcing neighbors to
endure “blaring music, stomping and shaking walls,” for up to three hours
each day.
 
George complained about “unreasonably high-decibel, amplified music” and
vibrations pouring through walls, ceilings and radiators.
 
The building’s board says it has already threatened to evict Madonna.
Madonna’s representatives didn’t immediately respond to a request for
comment.

1) Burning Up : bien, el video es antiguo y creo que es fiel a su calidad
2) Lucky Star : un poquito mas borroso y sin tanta definicion ni color como
en el IC dvd
3) Borderline: no tiene grandes cambio de calidad
4) Like A Virgin : no tiene grandes cambio de calidad, si se nota que le
pasaron un suavisado digital
5) Material Girl : no le veo diferencia
6) Crazy For You : ok
7) Into The Groove : ok
8) Live To Tell : el video se ve bien bien
9) Papa Don't Preach : un poco menos de definicion y menos color
10) True Blue ; Bien bien
11) Open Your Heart : aqui el suavisado digital se nota, no es tan definido
como en el IC
12) La Isla Bonita : esta no pasa el control de calidad, si casi parece un
video en blanco y negro.
13) Who's That Girl : OK
14) Like A Prayer : se nota el suavisado digital
15) Express Yourself : no noto tanta diferencia, me gusta que sea la

16) Cherish : tampoco veo tanta diferencia

18) Justify My Love : el SINGLE-VHS original tenia mejor calidad, este se ve
raro, medio borroso, contrastado, la barra de censura que ponen sobre las tetas
de la actriz se ven mejor calidad que el propio video.

20) Deeper and Deeper: se ve bien, no tanto como el VOB promo que anda por aca.
21) Rain : casi igual al 93:99, con un poco de menos definicion

en el segundo Dvd comienza a quedar un poco la cag�

44) 4 Minutes : al haber visto el vob del DVD single..la baja calidad de esta
version es mas notoria

46) Miles Away : para empezar el video es malo,,,hay un tipo que sale 10
veces...y las imagenes de madonna cantando parecen grabadas de una pantalla.

mi humilde conclusion;

creo que este producto no deberia costar mas de $7.000
videos como BAD GIRL/ OH FATHER / NOTHING REALLY MATTER
no se extra�an, por que la calidad final del producto no es a lo que estamos
acostumbrados.

no me lo comprar�, quizas valla por el CD DOBLE
