I wonder if you've heard about VirtualMob?

The idea is to take part in an online flashmob by having loads of people
leave messages of support, thanks and goodwill on a public messageboard or
publicly advertised email address at the same time.

The date and details haven't been anounced yet but I though you might like
to know about this.
