When i was a kid I used to sit in front of our stereo with my eyes closed, for
hours at time, predending it was me singing.
I listened to Elvis, Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, my dad... In my head it was
all me. It was easy to picture myself sining these songs, becus i'd seen it
done in concerts and on tv. I'd grown up watching my Dad sing. I sort of knew
how it was done. But there was one great mystery to methat i just couldn't
comprehend. How did these incredible melodies come to life? How could the set
order of notes and rhythm either make me laugh or cry, or feel exited? Why did
some songs mean nothing to me, while otherscompletely consumed me, moving my
intire beiing with emotion? It seemed easy enough to write lyrics. I mean
everyone knows how to speak, But how did people find magic through melodies?
This question became the number one focus in my life. If i could write just one
of these songs, with a melody that touched peole the way i'd been touched! I
used to pray each night that God would let me spend my life writing such songs
and sing them in front of thousands of people.

Today I've learned that it doesn't matter how much i study the art of song
writing. In the end there's something deeper that structure and logic that
create the emotions we feel whenever we hear a song that touches us. It's like
there's ans invisible well of creative magic out there. That every melody ever
writteb every clever lyric, invention or idea is in this endless well. And if
you're lucky every now and then, this well opens up to you, and you can dip into
it; bringing to the physical universe a little piece of magic. And for those
who've learned how to shape it. this is the breath of løife into their little
creation.

This collection of songs is the result of years of trying to dip into this well.
Eventually i felt in tune with it. I discovered that writing the lyrics is in
the fact the hardest part of song writing. This is were I have to dip into
myself, trying to express with words how i feel. Thankgully the melody can
render even the simplest words powerful

Each of these songs means something special to me. I can only hope that you'll
experience some of the same wonder and excitement of listening to my songs, as I
experienced in the countless hours spent in front of out stereo

special talents, Thank you to everyone for having faith in this project
sacrificing so much time and effort for me. I am forever grateful to you!

Trond and Kristin Fjellman- I am incredible fortunate to have a management team
as passionate about their artists, and as understanding as you are. I can't
express how importantit is for me to have someone like you who's behind me
supporting me no matter wha i decide to do. I've never met a husband and wife so
diffrent yet so perfect for each other as you two. Together you're the best
team!

Thank you Petter Singsaas, Morten Jensen, Yngve Næss, Lage Foshjem, Frank
Johansen. Tine Onsrud, Kristin Thomassen, Ann Kathrin "AK" Solem and everyone at
Universal Music Norway for all the hard work passion and effort put into this
project! I truly love working whit people who are as exited and passionate about
the music as i am. Some of you (Especially Lage) are probably even a little bit
more exited and passionate than me- I like it! Bjørn Erik Pedersen- Thank you
patient giving me time to find my sound. You are so talented1 There's no doubt
that you'll reach further than you could ever dream of.
Rick Mitra- If everyone was as kind and unselfish as you, this would be a much
nicer business to be in! I don't think i've ever come acrosss a writer and
producer as multitalented yet so humble about it as you are
Mads Hauge- You're a great producer , writer and musican- but even greather
friend I love you dude!
Craig Hardy- I wish i knew how to be as positive and friendly to everyone as you
are. You're an inspiration as a producer and a friend.Douglas Carr- The hit
maker! Every song we write sounds like a smash. Looking forward to write some
more songs ! Take care of Daffne!
Chris Porter- Thank you for being involved in the early stages of this album,
helping me to find the right path. The writing sessions at your house always
give me new energy and inspiration. Espen Lind, Amund Bjørklund, Jon Marius
Aareskjold and everyone at Espionage- THnak you for getting In love whit an
angel sounding exactly the way i heard it in my head. You guys have a great team
going. Really enjoy working whit you.
Jørn Dahl- The songs we wrote reqlly played an important part of stearing this
album in the direction i needed. They will be hits somewere someday.Lets write
some more!
Jon Yngve Bakke- Finally we've released one of our songs! It's about time.

John Peppard- Thanks for bringing out the county in me. Its always joy writing

Maria Arredondo- You've played an integral part of the first chapter in my solo
