Yeah, it was a bit of a shock to me too. The webmaster of the
official site told me only last week that she was going to take down
the OLD message board, because it had been invaded by people who were
not MJ fans (turns out they were actually a pretty nice bunch
actually). However, she certainly made no mention of removing the new
board, let alone the entire site. Matter of fact, she told me
Parlophone were (quote) 'handing control of the site back to
Matthew,' which led me to believe that Matt himself was going to be
running it. I'm not sure why the old URL now points to Virgin either,
given that surely EMI/Parlophone and Virgin are rivals.

I think it's pretty poor of Parlophone to treat Matthew's fans this
badly (though I doubt very much it had anything to do with the
webmaster, who was pretty helpful to me). I hope Matthew decides to
continue with his music, and gets signed to a decent record label.
Meantime, we'll all just sit and twiddle our thumbs I guess. While
we've still got a forum or two, we've still got a voice too. :-) If
you have contact details for any of the people on the old site, maybe
you could contact them and let them know we've moved house?
