Hi Michael...

It sounds like one of the calipers is sticking.... whichever way the
car veers is normally that side caliper... although you can feel the
wheels after a drive to see how hot they are.. a sticking one will be
much hotter..

Something you need to check I think..

john..it doesnt veer off,just seems that the steering constantly needs adjusting to keep the car driving in a straight line.neither of the front wheels are...
