Re: [mazda626uk] Re: Problems!

Nightmare! Part didn't arrive on Friday so re-assembled all hoses and a modified
thermostat to see how she would run.

Now I have water chucking out when I put water in the radiator. From the what
ever it is under the air filter housing, where I looked for the thermostat first!

Quite a few reasons why the engine can overheat.. but as the heater
was cold, it narrows it down to a blockage and/or a faulty thermostat..

You might as well replace the thermostat anyway, as they are cheap,
and it's easy to fit.. reverse flush the system with clean water, and
keep going until clean water comes out..

Don't forget the antifreeze !

John

Hi David.. That part is just listed as "water outlet" quite expensive from the dealers, but hopefully you only need a new bolt, and maybe a new gasket.....

Cheers again John! Going to need a new one I think, corner has come off the actual part where the bolt goes. David John <einst@...> wrote:...
