2000 1.8 626
A few days ago engine cut out for approx 1-2 seconds while being
driven in gear restarted before gear disengaged. been Ok starting and
running until today, cut out whilst being driven. Turning ignition key
starts it but it immediately cuts out. Any suggestions. Will not start
when being towed.

... My guess (and I'm no pro at this like John is) is either fuel pump or ECU. Faultfinding 101- are the plugs wet or dry after it cuts out? Is there power to...

If I had to guess.. (and I am) I would check the relays, and the ignition switch.. I would also try to pull any fault codes that there may be stored.. It does...
