hello! Einstein!
I have a Mazda MX6 '93 LS/V6 stick/manual shift.
and also think I have a lotsa problems. When in first gear, it won't
move that much, its like its being held back. Is there a problem or
that's how it moves in 1st? And when shifting to second gear, its
very hard, but once in second and subsequent gears it runs like a
baby! Is there a problem related to the first or any?
Then I have all kinds of diagnostic codes: 2, 16(which i knew of
already), 15/17, and a 69. Does that mean I need to check/replace all
of the related items or were these from the previous repairs, and
they're still in the system?
Also can i check the codes for a running engine? What is the use of
doing it? and lastly does it hurt my engine/ vehicle?
I know that's an unending train of questions. I'm not so
knowledgeable on the mechanical side so any help would be very much
appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi hkoratala, and welcome to the club.. there should be no hesitation or "holding back" in first gear. It could be related to the codes you have pulled. ...
