I found a similar problem with mine, but I am probably a bit shorter
than you, and it wasn't as bad. I'm afraid the design was optimised
for Japanese customers, who tend to be on the short side.
You could investigate a lowered seat. I fancied that (and it would
probably have been more comfortable and "sporty"), but I didn't get
around to it.
