Re: Hello!

Hi to Ian and Steve. Yes this group is a trifle slow, don't know if
the membership is too busy driving around to post on the board, or
what.

I'm quite keen on the technical side of owning an MX-3, tho' I must
admit its been so reliable that I've only changed the oils since I
got it last December. I must check the pads are ok - tend to use the
brakes a lot - good aren't they?

My MX-3's done 77000 miles, and barely uses oil, so I'm well pleased
with it. It was a bit uncomfortable at first, till I modded the
accelerator pedal and gearlever; now its fine

Ian

The only complaint with the mx-3 is the suspension. On the long flat bumpy fen roads around Cambridge it tends to bounce around the road a lot. Think i need...

Ian, I live down a fairly bumpy road. The ride is very firm, so I do feel the bumps, but it doesn't bounce, as the motion is well damped. With stiffer...

Hi bfg, Leaky shocks should certainly cause a failure, no question. But I have heard of passes where the shocks were noticeably below par. One can't assume...
