Re: Hello!

Hi, Mr Fish
Welcome to the club.

I was told about a year ago my shocks were leaking, in fact when i
bought my MX3. All this time i have found a bit of a judder going
over sharp speedbumps, although otherwise it drives fine. However
not only did it pass the MOT back then, it passed it again in July
this year (no fails found).

So in short, leaking or worn shocks dont neccessarily mean a fail,
although maybe they should, dunno?

Steven

I've recently bought myself a '92 MX-3 1.8 V6 in Ocean Blue, and i'm well pleased. However, it's taken me ages to find other UK MX-3 owners - not good. I found...

Hi to Ian and Steve. Yes this group is a trifle slow, don't know if the membership is too busy driving around to post on the board, or what. I'm quite keen on...

The only complaint with the mx-3 is the suspension. On the long flat bumpy fen roads around Cambridge it tends to bounce around the road a lot. Think i need...

Ian, I live down a fairly bumpy road. The ride is very firm, so I do feel the bumps, but it doesn't bounce, as the motion is well damped. With stiffer...

Hi bfg, Leaky shocks should certainly cause a failure, no question. But I have heard of passes where the shocks were noticeably below par. One can't assume...
