Hi bfg,

Leaky shocks should certainly cause a failure, no question. But I
have heard of passes where the shocks were noticeably below par. One
can't assume that an MOT pass = good shocks.

The only complaint with the mx-3 is the suspension. On the long flat bumpy fen roads around Cambridge it tends to bounce around the road a lot. Think i need...

Ian, I live down a fairly bumpy road. The ride is very firm, so I do feel the bumps, but it doesn't bounce, as the motion is well damped. With stiffer...
