Re: [Mazda MX3 Owners UK] How do you when its no longer sensible to repair your MX3?
But what car would you replace it with ?, and be happy driving. That's the
biggest question.

Ok, my dilema is as follows, My 1991 V6 with 109000 on the clock needs
a new driveshaft and in the near future a head gasket looks on the
cards. I am weighing up the pros and cons between paying for the
repairs and calling it a day. I'd be very reluctant to have to say
goodbye to it as i love the car, but as im looking at a bill of over a
grand possibly for these repairs alone, is it worth it? My local
Mazda dealer doesnt think so, citing the cost and work needed and
referring to corrosion etc. However a mechanic at my local Lex says it
doesnt look too bad when he went underneath the car to have a general
look at the condition. What do others think, has anyone else reached a
similar stage with their car?
Cheers
