clicked!! (PROBABLY THE 'SHERBERT' AGAIN). I hope the MX3
is repairable and your partner is well and that you
contiue to experience the delights of driving one.(Try
searching MX3 V6 on Yahoo and see the wollies that think
they know it all!!) JeffDS.

again. Wish I could keep my gob shut. <br>Anyway I was
surfing for MX3 I came accross 'your?' site and noticed
ther was no 'chat'.just tech. details and the only
other sites I found contained derogitary comments on
the '3'.<br>hope we can start a usefull discourse on
the moter and hope to hear from you again.
Yup, the site is mine and mine alone.<br><br>Hope
you fond usefull information on it. I have considered
adding a simple java chat section, but haven't had the
time. Which site had derogitory comments on the MX-3?
site of one 'mbradbury4@...' does not think
much of the MX3!<br>Do not want to enter
debate/arguements at moment. Still, nice to know you are monitoring
the site!<br>Chance of a name? (whats a java?) All
the best Jeff.
Hi !<br><br>I don;t want to get into a debate
either, just interested in seeing what someone has to say
about the MX-3 negatively. Do you happen to have a URL
for his website? That was only an e-mail address you
posted.<br><br>Java, such as javascript and coding for HTML pages.
Sorry Jeff, I just used 'advanced search' on
yahoo with mazda mx3 as subject and he was 1st site I
saw.<br>Your good at this arn't you! <br>Me, I just switch it
on and let my daughters do the business!

Nice to hear that there are other people out
there with super cars!! I have had my 91 J-reg MX-3 1.8
V6 for 18 months and really enjoy driving
it.<br><br>I have recently fitted a Jetex Laser backbox to the
car (twin round 89mm tailpipes) and what a noise!
People can really hear me coming.<br><br>I have been
thinking of fitting a replacement air filter element (not
induction kit), can any of you recommend a brand to go for
- I was thinking of K&N?
Hi you lot!<br>Another owner joining the
ranks.<br>Ive had my MX3 V6 for a month now and I absolutely
love it, any excuse to go for a drive and im out there
wasting petrol...ahh well.<br>I picked up a blaze red J
reg 92 in first class condition, FSH with 96,000
miles on the clock for £3500, I think I got a fantastic
car for that kind of money, although I did have my
doubts about the mileage? Any
thoughts?<br><br>Mark.<br>Lincoln.
Hi Mark & welcome. I think 10,00 a year is average these days. What sort of MPG
do you lot get? I, prior to a new PS pump, got 27, now it is 31. Any comments?
call me thick if you want but being a dozy woman, WHY? should a new steering
pump give you more mpg.... Oh welcome to the new members, sorry to say this but
it's more fellows, where's all the gal's?
good to hear from another lass, only you sound a
bit more tech minded than me, i just drive round in
mine, that being a pleasure of course. Black mx3's look
great, although i'v seen a green metallic one recently,
quite nice, as you will gather colour is important to
me. Our mx3 is white, not a colour i usually like but
me an the chap fell in love with it the minute we
saw it. nice to hear from new members too!!!!!!
Thanks for writing back. I'm not really that tech
minded - its my son that does all the work on the Maz as
he used to work for Ripspeed/Halfords.<br><br>He has
also signed me up to this Mazda club in an effort to
teach me how to use the Internet!! and because he is a
member of the Peugeot Sport Club and is always recieving
messages from their forum.<br><br>I do love my car, great
weather at the moment for Mazdas - windows down, sunroof
open and stereo up loud!!! And we can still hear the
exhaust over the top of it!<br><br>Have to hide the keys,
husband and son try to take off with the car at every
opportunity so I have had my name put on the number plates -
serves them right!<br><br>Barb
I could of worn a dress, but you would of sussed
me out...havent got the knees for it :-)<br>Ive just
worked it out and im getting 32 MPG so I guess my power
steering pumps ok.<br>Before i got my Mx3 they were a bit
of a rarity and now ive got one they seem to be
everywhere, I pass a silver and a turquoise car
everyday.<br>Ive added a pic in the albums page, its all as
standard, I dont think i'll be doing any mods, just yet...
I look on my MX3 as a Special friend who I am
having a wonderful romance with. The exotic name of
Tropical Blue describes a colour that changes from green
to blue. Blue by day and dark green @ night. I think
its the metalic process in the paint. She is a dream
to drive slow or fast she always brings me home
safely. My 10 year old j reg MX-3 passed her M.O.T
without any promblems. I have just spent 8 hours and 6
coats of metal finish Hammerite paint and renovated my
wheels. They now gleam with lots of sparkle. I have been
driving on German made Semperet tyres which are proving
good all round performer, feels a good ride. I am
close to getting 250 miles to this tank of petrol so I
guess my driving has improved. I made this wonderful
tape of my fav music, thanks for drum & base my 4
channel Kenwood player is music to my mind body heart and
soul.<br>If there was Zen in the Art transportation it would
be with a Tropical Blue Mazda MX-3 V6 1.8<br>Best
wishes to you all.<br>I got it bad I am in Love with my
Mazda<br>MX3 FOREVER yep yep yep<br>xAlex
well weve only had our car about 3 months, but
after a cavalier, don't get me wronge it was a good un,
theres no comparison..... I love our mx3, its all white
and a beautiful interior to go with it, all leather
and suede grey and cream, with split rims with mazda
in the middle to match the interior, we dropped on
it by pure chance looking round for a ford probe,
its not an import i'v seen one similar round the
wakefield area without the full body kit on. Were still
learning about it, a few things off this sight by the
way.. Its good to hear from new members there must be
lots more owners out there with comps. Do you get a
lot of tyre noise? 250 miles thats more than we have,
but of course not wanting to sound sexist i can go
futher on a tank than john. Maybe that makes me
boreing........I can't post pic's as i don't know how to add them
yet?
thank you for answering, that's handy with your
son, me and my partner John know someone who works at
the Wakefield mazda garage so thats a help, luckily
we havent needed anything yet as it's still in
warranty, so i'm keeping stum. I'v only just started to use
the internet and it's lovely to hear from other
people who bother to read there messages and reply. Plus
i'm learning a few things . One thing we did get
replaced was the front side light, it came from Belgium
and cost £127 {not us the garage} and 4 weeks to
arrive. Thought we ought to start ordering a few parts in
advance just in case!!!!! catch you again .
When I first picked the car up, I filled it up
and put one of them *one shot* 99p petrol injector
cleaner bottles in the tank and I did just over 300 miles
and ever since then between 270 & 300 depending on
how heavy my right foot feels. So it maybe worth
doing properly and no I havent got shares in
Red-Ex!<br>Also when I took it for a test drive, there was a bit
of noise from the from front wheels, guy at the
garage thought it was a wheel bearing on the way out,
turned out to be the inner edge of one tyre had worn
jagged somehow and when swapped with the wheel of
another Mx3 being cleaned up pre-sale, it
disapeared.<br>So in a couple of weeks the garage are going to put
2 new front tyres on for me and id like to know if
anyone has any reccommendations for tyres or ones to
avoid? Its got Yoko's on at the mo, any good?
Nice sentiments and I do agree. You lot probably
think I'm getting on, this is about my 25th car and it
takes me back to my teens when I had a MK1 spitfire.
Stop reminising!! best to all of you and keep
'messenging'
i don't think your getting on as me and my
partner John are both in our mid forties and are only
just able to get a car we liked with the kids growing
up, we don't have to taxi them around much these
days, only problem is "can i borrow the car?" thank
goodness we can't afford to insure them on the
mx3...........
