Hi Everyone...It seems I am in good company if you all are fans of
Michael Powell's work. I have done one of his kits--farmhouses--and
want to do more, but am involved in a different stitching project at
the moment: I am cross stitching Christmas stockings for each of my
grandchildren. I thought I was about done when I began the fourth
stocking this year, but my DD is now expecting twin girls in the
fall. I am waiting for Michael to design a stocking or two to
complete this project I began so naively four years ago.

Meanwhile, let me tell you that I am Sherry (uh oh! another one!),
and I live in Washington State--completely across the country from
the other Sherry. I'm a divorced 58 year old grandma, mother of 2,
grandma to four-soon-to-be-six.

I have been cross stitching about 23 years now, and find it very
soothing. I also enjoy drawing, watercolor, reading, knit and
crochet, and writing. I've played with designing, but never really
finished more that two projects to the final stitching.

I'm excited to have found this group--from Michael's website, by the
way.
