Hi Joan. I hope this group is going to be fun too.

I know what you mean about fabric being addictive, I've got a
drawerful! Most of our designs are fully stitched so the fabric
doesn't show at all. I used to love evenweave, I had a favourite
cotton/linen mix, but in recent years I have found that I don't enjoy
even weave. I struggle to see and count it, and then it becomes a
bit of a misery to do. So now I work all on Aida, but I am fussy
about my Aida! I used a cotton/linen one for my last big project, a
birth sampler for the latest grandson. It had a wonderful feel to
it.
