I had a thought this morning about miniJack. Now I realize that I
might have the time line completely skewed but has anyone written a
fic where they acknowledge the fact that miniJack is the same age that
Charlie would have been if he lived? I mean am I that off on the
timeline? Also I'm ashamed to admit I've never even seen the episode
with miniJack in it. All I know of him is what I've gleaned from fics
and the episode synopsis so like I said I could be way off. But hey
AU's are always fun to read, right?

Now here's the story idea. It's a crossover with Numb3rs.

And if so what if the original identity that Gen. Hammond set mini
Jack up with was as Charlie O'Neill? He's about the right age and
could pull it off considering how much he's going to look like Jack.

And this would be the perfect reason for his background to look
sketchy if a background check ever came up. Charlie was supposed to
be dead as he was killed when he was 8 or 9. Having him like this
could mean that he was in a sort of witness protection program?

(One problem I see here with anything involving miniJack is
fingerprints and DNA. Unless Thor did something else in his tune up
he still is the exact match down to the fingerprints of Jack O'Neill.)

I can see him being dropped off at high school that first day with a
second identity (the first layer was as Charlie) and then being picked
up by the NID a short time later. Then once he gets away setting up
yet another identity (maybe even with a new face if they hurt him bad
enough) and ending up at CalSci in the Numb3rs world. I completely
subscribe to the idea that Jack O'Neill is not as dumb as he lets
everyone thing and can see miniJack being a bit of a genus really
(plus with 50 years of knowledge in his head it would be nearly
impossible for him to be dumb).

The rest of the idea revolves around MiniJack and Charlie walking
through campus talking about something (maybe miniJack is his student?
Or a friend, lover?) when shots are fired at them. Now considering
the work that Charlie does and who miniJack really is they both think
the shots were fired at them. miniJack could either stay with Charlie
until help arrives or go after the shooter and catch him.

Now this was the main idea: miniJack saving Charlie's life. And maybe
him trying to get them to understand that if they dig to deeply into
his past he will be hunted down...

Or here's something else that I thought up. Unfortunately, I have a
tendency for the dark and angsty ideas.

Even though Don was all grateful that miniJack saved his brother he
still had to do a background check and his fingerprints popped up from
a torture crime scene.

What I was seeing is that someone sent the FBI the footage of from
what was done to miniJack when the NID had him. And the NID being the
nice wonderful people that they are tortured him badly. Of course
miniJack's fingerprints would be everywhere since he was the one being
tortured but due to the torture they messed up his face and it had to
be reconstructed and he no longer looks the same. So of course Don is
thinking the worst of him and has him cuffed in an interrogation room
grilling him about the torture. miniJack just asks him to uncuff his
hands so he can show him something and when he does removes his shirt
and turns around showing all the scars on his back from the torture-
thus proving he was the victim.

From here I'm not sure. He could become friends or almost family with
the Epps or even a lover of one of them. This was as far as I had
gotten. So if anyone wants to take any of this and run with it please
do so, but let me know so I can check it out when you post it!

Also, I remember that there is a fic that I've read where miniJack was
in an accident and lost most of his memories and ends up thinking that
he's actually Charlie. Jack and Daniel are together in this. Does
can anyone send me a link to this?
