My husband said he had heard a "knock" in our 1980 Mini after it had been
running for awhile (at least 10 minutes I would guess). I apologise as I was
not there, so I can't give too much more info on the nature of the knock. Any
initial thoughts to what it might be?

I am looking to buy a mini to restore for the first time. I am not looking to
spend a lot of money. Although I am realising that the majority of project
mini's haven't been ran for up to 10+ years. Am I crazy to want 2 buy a mini
like this for my 1st time. I can't afford much more as I already hav a ford
focus which cost me over 6000.

Hi,
I've sold my mini and I have a full set of seats, front and rear, from a '89
mini city.
They are free to the first person who wants to come pick them up. I have a
couple of grills too.
The seats are good for a reapair, or to use while you are having yours repaired.
I live in Thetford.
IP24 3PG.
Message me if you are interested.
Cheers,
Jeff

hi, i have two spotlights and an old foglight that i want to mount on
my '91 mini. it doesn't have a light bar, and i was just wondering how
you have mounted yours. is there a relatively cheap bracket available
for them? currently i am thinking of useing some no-damage bumper
clamps i found in my dad's shed
